How it Started
Birdies4Brains launched in 2011 from an obsession among friends to combine the passion for golf with fundraising to support brain injury survivors.
Our Inspiration
"My sister Christine nearly passed away after suffering a brain aneurysm. Her experience exposed me to the realities that most face in recovering from a brain injury, especially after the physical wounds have healed but the effects and trauma continue. I knew there was a need for an organization to help others in similar situations as there are often gaps in what’s needed and provided via insurance. My sister’s recovery has been a miracle and most are not as lucky so the work must continue."

Our Story
"Thank you for supporting Birdies4Brains and taking the time to learn more about who we are and what we do. It means a lot to me, our board, and the individuals and families that benefit from our work and our events.

Birdies4Brains got its start from an obsession (some may call an addiction) to golf shared by a few close friends. A few friends and I would ditch work on the Summer Solstice to play as many holes of golf in a single day taking full advantage of the longest day of the year. In 2011 we had the thought that we could probably combine our passion for golf with fundraising and do good in the community. That was the day that Birdies4Brains was born."
